Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I want to thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts, which meant so much to me over the past couple of days. Special thanks to laislabevita, who is a lovely, lovely person, for the most excellent care package of Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cherries and Cheesecake Newtons and Vitamin Water.

My mom had the very excellent idea of planting a memorial rosebush, which is very nice and appropriate for a rabbit named Rosie, which was my very own creative naming brilliance at age eleven at work. (My brother, at that point eight, suggested "Dirty Snowball", so really, this was a great improvement over what could have been.)

It will be planted as soon as we're a bit more certain there won't be any more frosts. Roses do not really find our yard to be suitable for meeting their exacting needs, but my dad enjoys gardening, so think it'll probably make it anyway.

In more cheerful news, I want to point out How You Remind Me of Someday, an interactive Flash exhibit demonstrating the downright eerie similarities between two Nickelback songs. I previously had no strong feelings on Nickelback or any of their music, but I have to admit that I find the combination of both songs ... oddly compelling. A non-interactive MP3 can also be found here as well as in my iTunes library where the playcount keeps ticking up ...
